Happily Ever After

I remember in 4th grade, a friend of mine brought her Tiger Beat and introduced me to Prince William. Along with Jonathan Taylor Thomas (aka JTT) and Ryder Strong, Prince William was the object of all tween's obsession. Lucky Kate. Or shall I say Catherine Middleton.

I didn't think I would be as interested as I was in the wedding until the Younger One woke me up at exactly 3 am for a feeding. Turned on the "telly" and got to see a glimpse of the beautiful ceremony. I didn't stay awake for the entire thing (as much as I wanted to watch the whole thing, I know the Older One will wake me up in 2 hours) I had to stay awake to watch the bride and groom's first glimpse of each other. Not to brag or anything, but as a former middle school teacher, I must say I'm a pretty darn good lip reader. I am pretty confident Prince William said, "You look beautiful" to Catherine when he first saw her and she did. Her dress was simply stunning and classy. With my son in my arm and a bottle in the other, I cried...by myself...at 3 am...in the dark. Such a wonderful fairy tale. What a perfect way to start off my Friday!
