Personalized Peg Doll Signature Stamps

I've been quite obsessed with carving stamps lately; there's simply something relaxing in its tediousness. I was joking with my husband the other day that I feel like an amateur tattoo artist. But instead of giving free tattoos as practice, I've been giving out stamps as gifts to friends.

I saw my friend, Melissa, last week and asked her to be my guinea pig. I wanted to perfect carving signatures on stamps and she willingly obliged to signing her name numerous times so I had something to play with.

It took me some time to carve this one but I had a lot of fun. But looking at that wood block on which this stamp was mounted on was a bit boring so I jazzed it up by adding a peg doll on top.

Knowing Melissa as the biggest Phillies fan, I absolutely had to put her in her Phillies gear.
